How to Read Your Tyre Size
In a size such as 205/55 R16, 205 is the nominal width in millimetres, 55 is the sidewall height as a percentage of that width, R identifies radial construction, and 16 is the rim diameter in inches.
Send your requirements →Where do I find the tyre size?
Look on the tyre sidewall and check the vehicle manufacturer’s specified sizes in the handbook or tyre placard. A fitted tyre may not be the correct specification for the vehicle.
Is size alone enough to choose a replacement?
No. Load index, speed rating, vehicle requirements and intended application also matter. Some vehicles use different front and rear sizes. Confirm the specification before ordering.
What if my size is missing from the finder?
Use the enquiry form and type the full sidewall marking, including any commercial designation, load index or speed rating. The team can review a size that is not included in the passenger-size selector.
Tell us what you need.
Your request is sent to the Obert team. Availability and arrangements are confirmed after review.
